About me

My name is Goda. I'm a Lithuanian artist from the Baltic coast - and I paint because I simply cannot stop.

I discovered this a long time ago, during the hardest periods of my life. When everything else fell away, I painted. It was the only thing that made sense. Art was my therapy before I even had words for what I was going through. What surprises me still, after all these years, is that I never know what I'm going to paint. I don't start with a plan. I start with a feeling - something larger than me, moving through my hands. Layer by layer, like a puzzle assembling itself, the painting finds its form. And when it's finished, I always recognise it. It materialised into exactly what I felt but couldn't say out loud.

My job is to trust this flow... I believe these paintings carry a message. Not from me - through me. And I believe they find the people who need them. If you're here, maybe one of them is meant for you.
